How We Work at Cuisine Errante
At Cuisine Errante, everything we make is produced with full control from start to finish. We do not operate like a shop, a regular market stall, or a commercial producer, and that is a deliberate choice.
Freshly produced to order
We produce our food to order for specific delivery dates.
Nothing is made weeks in advance, nothing sits in chillers waiting to be sold, and nothing is reworked from old stock.
Producing this way allows us to work with fresher meat, avoid preservatives and stabilisers, and control texture, seasoning, and moisture exactly as intended.
It also means we produce in limited quantities. Quality always comes before volume.
Full responsibility, no third parties
No one sells our products but us.
We are the ones who make everything, oversee it throughout production, and hand it directly to our customers. Because of this, we know exactly how our food has been stored, handled, and transported at every stage.
Our food is never left sitting in a shop window or a warm kitchen waiting to be sold. It reaches you the way we intended it to be received.
Meat selection and preparation
We use hand selected cuts sourced locally and prepare everything ourselves.
Meat is ground on site in small batches rather than bought in ready minced. This preserves freshness, prevents oxidation, and allows us to control fat content and texture accurately.
We use proper cuts, not trim or reclaim, and we work in small batches so quality is never compromised.
Traditional methods, modern standards
We work using traditional preparation methods, but with modern food safety standards and careful process control.
We do not use preservatives, artificial stabilisers, or packet seasoning blends. Flavour comes from the meat, the fat, and carefully balanced herbs and spices.
Why we do delivery runs
Producing to order means we do not hold constant stock. Instead, we work around planned delivery runs.
This allows us to:
• Keep food as fresh as possible
• Maintain full control over quality
• Avoid unnecessary waste
• Deliver food in the condition it was intended
This approach takes more time and limits volume, but it ensures every order reflects our standards.
