Emma’s Gran’s Christmas Cake

Some Christmas traditions are worth keeping, and a proper Christmas cake is one of them.

Made in our Cuisine Errante kitchen using Emma’s Gran’s traditional recipe, this rich fruitcake is packed with dried fruit and festive spices. It is then slowly fed with brandy over several weeks, giving the flavours time to develop and mature.

Once it has had the time it needs, the cake is covered with marzipan and finished with smooth white icing and delicate winter-inspired decorations.

This is a traditionally made Christmas cake, not something rushed at the last minute. The preparation and feeding process takes weeks, and the finished cakes will only be ready a few days before Christmas.

Why You Must Order Early

A traditional Christmas cake needs time. We begin preparing the cakes well in advance, feeding them over several weeks so the flavours can develop before they are finished and decorated.

Because of this process, we cannot offer these cakes for immediate collection or make them available at short notice. Each cake needs its preparation time, and our finished cakes will only be ready a few days before Christmas.

We are making a limited batch, so orders close on Sunday 8 November 2026 at midnight. This early deadline allows us to plan production and give the cakes the time they deserve.

Christmas delivery: Thursday 24 December 2026.

Christmas Collection Delivery

Your Christmas cake will be delivered to your selected local collection point on Christmas Eve, 24 December, alongside the other products you have ordered from our Christmas collection.

At checkout, choose an available collection location and make sure you select the Christmas delivery option.

A traditional Christmas cake cannot be rushed. This is Emma’s Gran’s recipe, made with care and given the time it needs to become part of your Christmas celebration.
